Cable Knitting stitches

Knitted in a multiple of 18 sts + 1 and 8-row repeat 

Row 1 (right side): Purl 1, * knit 2, purl 4, knit 2, purl 1; rep from * to end.
Row 2 and all wrong rows: K1, * p2, k4, p2, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 3: Purl 1, * left cross, right cross, purl 1, knit 2, purl 4, knit 2, purl 1; rep from * to end.
Row 5: Purl 1, * knit 2, purl 4, knit 2, purl 1; rep from * to end. *
Row 7: Purl 1, * knit 2, purl 4, knit 2, purl 1, left cross, right cross, purl 1; rep from * to end.
Row 8: Knit 1, * purl 2, knit 4, purl 2, knit 1; rep from * to end.
Repeat these rows.

How to: 
Left cross: Slip 2 stitches to dpn and hold in front; p2, yo; from dpn k2-tog through back loop
Right cross : Slip 2 stitches to dpn and hold in back; k2-tog, yo; p2 from dpn
